You are invited to get involved in the music ministry of CUMC. If you enjoy singing or if you play in instrument, there is a place for you to use your gifts.

Chancel Choir
Rehearsals are every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 and the choir sings each Sunday morning during the 11:00 worship service. If you are in high school or older we would love to have you come and sing with us. New singers are welcome and needed! Ability to read music is not necessary, just the ability to sing on pitch. Even if you cannot commit to rehearsals every Wednesday, come and check us out. Rehearsal tapes can be made available.

This fall we will also be working on a Chrismas Cantata and would like to invite other singers to be part of the cantata choir. Watch for rehearsal times to be announced soon on the Events Page.

The Handbell Choir, under the direction of Karen Witoff, rehearses Tuesday evenings at 7:30 and plays in worship services several times throughout the year. New ringers are always welcome. People of all ages (both male and female) from grade 11 and up are encouraged to join. If you enjoy hearing bells ring why not join us on Tuesday evenings at 7:30.

Junior Bell Choir
For youth in grades 6-10. Please consider joining the Junior Bell Choir. Rehearsals will be scattered throughout the year and we will perform several times during the year.

The Praise Team meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and leads worship at the 8:45 AM Sunday service. We are currently in need of some female voices, both soprano and alto, so if you have a beautiful voice and would love to sing for God's glory, please contact please contact Diane Kofahl.

Young people who play an instrument are encouraged to play for our Family Christmas program. Middle and high school musicians (as well as adults) are also invited to play special solos or ensembles during Sunday worship services. Please contact Diane Kofahl.

Children's Choir will sing for some special services this year. Rehearsals will be on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 on an announced basis.

We have a wonderful wealth of talent at CUMC. Let's all join together to "Make a joyful noise to the Lord."
