2. Biblically grounded

We strive to live our lives according to the truths and promises revealed in the Bible.

Accountability Question: How is your life aligning more and more with Biblical truth.

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, and alight on my path.

3. Led by the Spirit

The Holy Spirit is our guide and help to fulfill God’s will.

Accountability Question: How are you following the Spirit’s lead in your daily life and ministry?

John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Galatians 5:22-24 For the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control.

 

4. Intentionally connecting with one another

Authentic loving community is the most fruitful environment for care and spiritual growth.

Accountability Question: How are you getting more deeply involved in community for your spiritual growth (example, small groups)?

John 13:34-35 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Philippians 2:2 Make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.

 

5. Growing as followers of Jesus

We pursue a transforming relationship with Christ in which we are made more like him.

 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:5-8

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7

 

6. Developing leaders

To equip current and future leaders for fruitful ministry.

Accountability Question: How are you helping to cultivate leaders here?

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now may the God of peace…equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

7. Sharing the message of Christ’s love
The church exists to reach everyone with the good news

Accountability Question: With whom are you sharing the good news about Jesus in word and action?

Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

8. Responding to God’s love by serving others

Jesus expects us to reach out to serve the least, lost and lonely as his hands and feet.

9. All in ministry (AIM)
Every Christian is called to be ministries that align with their gifts and that advance the mission of the church.

Accountability Question: Where/how are you using your gifts to advance the ministries and mission of the church?
