Women of the Word (WOW) Bible Study

Women of the Word (WOW) meets on Monday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30 for Bible study, prayer, fellowship and encouragement.  On Monday morning, January 23, we will begin a new study entitled Loving God With All Your Mind by Elizabeth George. This study highlights several important Bible passages that can help you successfully endure every season and situation in life. The study includes weekly group sessions and personal daily assignments. Cost for the book is $8.00.  Women of all ages are invited and welcome to attend. For more information contact Diane Kofahl.

  Ruth Circle

The Ruth Circle meets once a month on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 AM. All senior ladies of the church, as well as new members and guests, are always welcome.

Fall Women’s Retreat

This year’s Fall Women’s Retreat was held Friday evening, September 30, through Sunday morning, October 2, at the River Rock Retreat Center on beautiful Lake Chautauqua. Our retreat speaker was our own Linda Eaton and she will be sharing on the topic, “The Transformation Tool Kit”, using Romans 12:2 (Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will) for the Biblical basis of our study.
The women had a great time sharing photos of themselves at various stages of life. Cost for the entire weekend was $40.00 which covered all meals and snacks. The retreat program ended on Saturday evening with a closing worship service and you had the option of staying through Sunday morning or going home Saturday night.
