Welcome children and youth to the Bell Choir! Grades 3 - 8 are invited to come to practice Wednesday evening, January 18 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM. We will begin with the basics of bell ringing so you don't need any bell background or even know how to read music. Please call me if you have any questions: Karen Halbert - 759-7405. I look forward to working with the youth and making some beautiful music. |

MANNA (Meals And Nearly New Acquaintances) |
Our next MANNA event is scheduled for March 24, 2011. MANNA is a new way to socialize with our new church members as well as get to know some that have been around awhile! MANNA will be comprised of 2 groups. Group 1 will be made up of those individuals or couples who would be willing to host a dinner for 6-10 people in their home. Group 2 will be made up of those who want to join in dinner but are unable to host. Hosts will provide the meeting place and the main course for dinner, all other attendees will bring a dish as arranged by their host.
Initially, MANNA is being planned as an every other month event. The date of each dinner will be set and signup sheets will be posted for available hosts and participants for that date. Efforts will be made to change the dining groups up, so in the course of the year, you will have the opportunity to dine with many different members of the CUMC family.
MANNA is open to all adult singles and couples. For further information, please contact Jack or Sharon Jaeger through the church office at 759-8921. Mark your calendars! |
