CARE-A-VAN MINISTRIES was established in May of 2000 in Batavia, NY, as a street outreach to bring compassion, prayer, hope, food and clothing to those in need. We have partnered to help provide seniors with gift bags at Christmas; we have also donated toiletries, turkeys and Thanksgiving food boxes.

FAMILY PROMISE is a faith-based housing program that serves homeless families in the Buffalo area. Qualified families are treated as guests by area churches where they receive meals and a safe place to sleep. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BUFFALO puts God’s love into action by addressing the urgent housing needs in the Buffalo community. We have raised funds to support both building new homes and rehabbing existing houses, and we continue to organize monthly work teams in conjunction with other Clarence churches. HARVEST HOUSE is a faith based ministry in Buffalo that provides the following services to those in need:
–Baby & Children’s Ministry offers free clothing & other necessities to children referred by Social Service agencies.
–Good Neighbors Health Care provides uninsured adults with free medical, dental, counseling & vision services.
–New Hope Education Center offers a variety of vocational & certification programs to enable adults to become gainfully employed.
PEACE OF THE CITY offers programs for at risk youth in Buffalo’s West Side, focusing on literacy, creative arts, job training and spiritual growth. www.peaceofthecity.org
WEDI (
Westminster Economic Development Initiative) aims to empower economically disadvantaged people in Buffalo, NY, with a primary focus on the West Side community. WEDI reduces barriers to success and opportunity through economic development, community building, and education.

YOUNG LIFE introduces adolescents to Jesus Christ and helps them grow in their faith. This mission is accomplished by
- Praying for young people.
- Going where kids are and building personal relationships with them.
- Earning the right to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
- Providing fun, adventurous, life-changing and skill-building experiences.
- Inviting kids to personally respond to the Good News and walking in friendship with them regardless of their response.
- Preparing kids for a life-long relationship with Christ and a love for His word, His mission and the local church.
