Clarence Global Methodist Family,

After much effort, prayer and a time of waiting on God, I am glad to announce that our Staff Parish Relations Team has made a decision to bring onto our staff Pastor Stephen Mannion. Stephen and his wife Dawn will be present with us here at Clarence Global Methodist Church beginning Sunday September 1st. This first week, they will be worshipping with us and he will begin his pastoral work this week as our Pastor of Outreach and Administration including involvement in some youth ministry, Sunday School, congregational care and preaching and teaching.

BRIEF BIO:

Stephen Mannion and his wife Dawn are thrilled to be part of the Clarence GMC family.  Dawn is a Hamburg native, and a retired special education teacher.  She has two children, Brenden (age 26) and Hope (age 20), but of whom live in the Buffalo area.

Stephen is a Pittsburgh native, studied at Geneva College (BA), the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (MTS), and is currently working on his PhD in Church History at Newburgh Theological Seminary.  After serving as an Associate Pastor for 5 years between two churches, Stephen became the Pastor at Faith United Methodist Church in Lancaster, NY where he served for 6 1/2 years.

Both Stephen and Dawn have a passion for community outreach, and especially look forward to including the youth in that important work.  Both of them look forward to sharing the bond of Christian love and ministry with the members at Clarence GMC!
